If you are looking for Excursions Tickets Direct reviews, here it is in one sentence: it is a high-street agency that sells the same excursions as the big platforms, at almost the same prices and with a convenient deposit system, but with very thin legal identification and claims about itself that nobody else backs up.
Score

For
- You pay a deposit and the rest on the day of the excursion.

Against
- The legal notice talks about an online shoe shop and names an unrelated estate agency.
- It claims to be a "sister company" of Líneas Romero, but the ferry company does not mention it.
- Aqualava at €40, when the park and the platforms sell it for €30.
- Few public reviews.
Who is behind Excursions Tickets Direct
The website presents itself as "Tickets Direct Excursions Lanzarote". Its legal notice, the one required by Spain's information society services law, identifies the owner as an individual, a self-employed trader based in Costa Teguise. There is no limited company behind it.
That legal notice has an obvious problem: it is a copied template. It says the purpose of the website is an "online shoe shop" and twice names a property company that has nothing to do with excursions. Selling excursions as a sole trader is not illegal, but a legal text like this does not suggest care, and it is the document you would turn to in a dispute.
What the agency says about itself
On its "about us" page and on the home page, the agency states:
- that it has been operating since 2000;
- that it is a "sister company" of Líneas Marítimas Romero, which it describes as the island's largest ferry company;
- that it has "more than 10" or "12" offices, depending on the page, in Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca;
- that it has outsold TUI and Jet2.
These are its own claims. The Líneas Romero website does not mention this agency. Treat them as advertising, not as fact.
What it offers
The website's search shows 53 products in Lanzarote, from €26 to €400: island tours (Timanfaya half day, Grand Tour, César Manrique tour, Coast 2 Coast), excursions to Fuerteventura and La Graciosa, catamarans to Papagayo, Lobos, dolphins and whales, the submarine, Can-Am and Polaris buggies, jet skis, parascending, try dives, Rancho Texas, Aqualava, Aquapark and ferries.
Prices versus the operator and other websites
Adult price on each channel:
| Excursion | Excursions Tickets Direct | Direct / official | GetYourGuide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Timanfaya half day | €59 | Montañas del Fuego entry €30, no transport | €59 |
| Full tour Timanfaya + Jameos + Cueva | €99 | tickets alone €64 | €89 |
| Ferry to La Graciosa, return | €29 | €29 | €29 |
| Lanzarote–Fuerteventura ferry | €38 | Líneas Romero €39 return, €20.50 one way | from €19.50 |
| Papagayo mini-cruise | €31.50 (reduced from €35) | — | €35 |
| Submarine | €65 | €61.75 on its website | €65 |
| Aqualava | €40 | €30 | €30 |
| Rancho Texas | €45 | €45 | not sold |
On almost everything, the price is the list price. There are three differences worth knowing:
- Aqualava at €40 against €30 at the park and on the platforms. The listing does not say whether it includes a transfer; ask before paying.
- The full-day tour at €99, as on Civitatis, against €89 on GetYourGuide.
- The Papagayo mini-cruise at 10% off (€31.50), cheaper than on other websites.
For the Fuerteventura ferry, compare carefully: on GetYourGuide the ticket starts at €19.50, and Líneas Romero charges €20.50 one way on its website. Always check whether the price is one way or return. The details are in Fuerteventura from Lanzarote.

What travellers say
The agency has a Tripadvisor listing (Costa Teguise) with 3.8 out of 5 from 17 reviews. It has no Trustpilot page. With so few reviews, the rating says little. The themes that come up: the office staff are praised for being helpful, and there are complaints about a Fuerteventura excursion with no transport from the port. Before booking an excursion to another island, ask exactly what is included on arrival.
How to book and cancel
- Payment: a deposit when booking and the rest on the day of the excursion. This is the main difference from GetYourGuide or Civitatis, where you pay everything up front or by card under "reserve now, pay later".
- Cancellation: free up to 24 hours before the day of the activity.
- After the deadline: only a change of date, except for medical cancellations with a certificate.
- Price guarantee: if you find the same excursion cheaper, they say they will match the price and pay you the difference.
Alternatives to Excursions Tickets Direct
- GetYourGuide: the same price on almost everything, free 24-hour cancellation and the provider's name on every listing. It is our partner and we earn a commission.
- Civitatis: a Spanish platform with many more reviews.
- Tiqets: Aqualava at €30 and Rancho Texas at €45, both cancellable.
- Direct with the ferry company: Líneas Romero ferries and catamarans at https://www.lineasromero.com/en/your-journey
- Other local websites: TravelON and LanzaroteON, with stricter cancellation terms.
If you are still deciding what to do, start with Timanfaya, boat trips or La Graciosa.
